The Black Trench is a dark, ominous cavern that has several wrecks and a lot of sharks. The main challenge here is navigating the decks of the shipwrecks which happens to have a lot of urchins as well. If you're unable to get all the treasures and animus fragments in one trip, you can return to the surface and dive again so your crew can send a new batch of air barrels. This is a rather small area and lots of space to hide. In case you die, the collectibles you collected will stay with you so you just have to proceed collecting the other items and deliberately letting yourself drown once done so you don't have to swim back to the diving bell.
