Ever wanted to know more about the town of Willamette and what’s been going on since the first outbreak? Want to get tips and pointed towards secret locations? Well, luckily for you, the game is full of newspapers who will do all of the above. We’ve broken down how to find them by the story that they are part of.

Return of the Mall

  1. Willamette Memorial – On the counter behind the bar at the circular bar in the Amazon food court

  2. Willamette Memorial – On the balcony above Captain Hats in Caribbean Cove. Use the staircase at the yellow building to get onto the ledge that’ll take you there

  3. Willamette Memorial – In the upper floor offices at White Rook Protection, up the stairs from the emergency shelter entrance at Caribbean Cove

  4. Willamette Memorial – In the back office of B.Kennedy Insurance, beside the broken shutter in Central Plaza that leads to the Obscuris camp.

 

Friday, Friday, Friday!

  1. Willamette Memorial – Behind the counter in the Go Kart Speedway shop in Miami Boardwalk

  2. Willamette Memorial – In Cameron’s Cameras, just past Miami Boardwalk on the way to Caribbean Cove

  3. Willamette Memorial – Behind the counter in Colossus Express Couriers, on the upper floor link between Caribbean Cove and Kiichiro Plaza

 

Cold Snap

  1. Old Town – On a tool box in the Willamette Taxi co garage

  2. Old Town – Out the front of the City Archives, to the right of the building, there’s a panic room key on a military table. Use that to open the panic room at the back of the Archives, the paper is in there

 

The Old Town Ripper

  1. Old Town – In the kitchen of Hungry Joe’s Pizza, opposite the water tower

  2. Old Town – Behind the counter in Dodd’s Drugs, you’ll need to go to this location as part of Case 2

  3. Old Town – In the dumpster out the back of the Willamette Gazette and Historical society building

  4. Old Town – On a sofa in the Nobleman’s Barber Shop

  5. Old Town – In the bathroom of the Low Income Hotel Room next to Big Bull’s Meats. Use the white truck around the side to climb up to the open window to gain access.

 

A Greener Willamette

  1. Old Town – Under the slide in the kid’s playpark are of the park in front of the mall, to the left hand side of the park.

 

Family Reunion

  1. Old Town – Leaning on the tower style grave near the wall, to the right of the entrance in the cemetery

  2. Old Town – On the magazine stand in the Tornado Convenience Stop, in the south east of the area.

 

Sweet Ride

  1. Old Town – Inside the open white shipping crate half way through the Junkyard, on the eastern wall. Use the nearby military truck to jump up to the crate

 

Missed Connection

  1. West Ridge – At the back of the workshop on the side of the barn in Tom’s Farm

 

SurviviCon

  1. West Ridge – In an open locker at the back of the bathrooms on the lower floor of the emergency shelter

  2. West Ridge – Grab the panic room key from the emergency shelter, then head for the Patriot’s Residence. Use the key to open the panic room in the garage in the backyard, the newspaper is in there.

  3. West Ridge – On a mat in Chakra Flex Yoga

  4. West Ridge – In an open locker in the Emergency Medical Services building, near the chapel in the south of the area

 

Mittens Finds a Home

  1. West Ridge – In the garage of the Hunters Residence, in the gated community

  2. West Ridge – In the kitchen of the Dojos Residence, in the gated community

  3. West Ridge – On a chair beside the fireplace on the ground floor of the winery

 

Baby Shoes

  1. West Ridge – In the magazine stand of the Tornado Convenience Stop, near to the emergency shelter

 

From the Ashes

  1. North Peak – On the roof of Rockpile Liquors. Use the truck around the back to climb up to the roof, then jump across to the roof with the wooden beam and use that to get to the roof

  2. North Peak – In the back room of Ka-Pow! Tires, to the east of the motel

  3. North Peak – In Nickoll’s Ink, opposite Ka-Pow! Tires.

  4. North Peak – In the magazine stand inside the Tornado Convenience Stop, just south of the nightclub

  5. North Peak – On a stool at the counter in the lower level of the emergency shelter

 

Vintage Newspapers

  1. North Peak – On the second floor of the cement factory, on a pile of wood. Reach it by driving a vehicle through the Freytag Furniture Factory, using the ramp to jump into the cement factory, then jumping down one level.

  2. North Peak – On the walkway under the line of white silos along the train tracks where you track Calder

  3. North Peak – In the open green train car in the tunnel, just before the entrance to the sewer

  4. North Peak – From the tunnel entrance to the sewers, can be found on a body in the section junction area you pass through, just before the tunnel that leads to the big junction area where you first fight Evolved Zombies

 

Punching President

  1. North Peak – Behind the bar in the Glitter Dolls Nightclub

 

Willamette Time Capsule 1

  1. Willamette Memorial – On the seats of the last booth along at Pirate’s Catch in Caribbean Cove

 

Willamette Time Capsule 2

  1. West Ridge – Grab the panic room key from the Kent Farm’s fruit stand, just up the road from the winery. Use it to unlock the panic room in the garage out the back of the Kent Farm house, the newspaper is in there.

 

Willamette Time Capsule 3

  1. Old Town – In the armoury of the emergency shelter you’ll find a panic room key. Use it to open the panic room in the Willamette Gazette and Historical society building, the newspaper is in there.

 

Willamette Time Capsule 4

  1. Old Town – In the first aid station in the emergency shelter there’s a panic room key. Use it to open the panic room in the B.Ready Insurance office, above Zheng’s Kung Fu Academy. Use the bins to the left to climb up onto the emergency access to gain access to the office, then use the key to open the panic room, the newspaper is in there.
