There are 288 medals to achieve and each challenge can be played in any mode. To unlock all 24 maps, you have to clear the main story and play challenge mode.

COMBAT CHALLENGES
————————————
Similar to the Predator Challenges, these are like the ones you meet in-game, in this case the combat brawls requiring you to face multiple opponents in a bare-handed fistfight. You are given the freedom to play them in different modifiers and modes. The task for this challenges is to reach a specific point threshold towards the end of the fourth. Points are awarded for every counter and strike that you connect. Make sure to keep your multiplier high enough for some nice bonuses. Evading then striking, then repeating this over and over is a sure-fire way to rack up the combo hits safely. Also, the shock gloves should be activated asap to multiply your every hit twice. The last opponents should be finished with the RT + Y finisher for major bonus, so take note of this at all costs. Press Y when the blue prompts from enemies appear, press left stick + A to evade, or if you want to complete the brawl much faster concetrate all your attacks on a big guy, super cape him by pressing B 3x, then punch away multiple times until you can activate shock gloves by pressing left stick + right stick.

PREDATOR CHALLENGES
—————————————-
These are the same predator rooms that you encounter throughout the game. There are 12 overall. You are given the freedom to play them in different modifiers and modes. There are medals for you to achieve for each of them.Beat the campaign challenges to unlock all the 6 extreme versions. Furthermore, some equipment and skills are specifically needed for some medals, so it is higly advisable to finish the main story first and purchase all of the upgrades that you can. Always take out the guards one by one. You have to isolate them so you will not get frustrated trying to deal with multiple guys especially the ones wielding firearms. Use the explosive gels on walls to provide misdirection, after the explosion quickly move to another area and ambush the incoming enemy as you prefer to. Use your jammer at the start and disarm as many enemies as you can first while being perched above, then focus on the other guys who still have dangerous firearms first. Also use the multiple batarangs for multiple knockdowns leading to multiple knockouts.
