Abilities
Hellfire Shotguns: Reapers primary ability is dual shotguns that dish out massive damage at close range.
Wraith Form: Reaper becomes one with the shadows, which allows him to become invulnerable as well as pass through enemies. He cannot fire his weapons while in this phase.
Shadow Step: Reaper teleports to a location of your choosing.
Death Blossom: Reaper unleashes his shells at a breakneck speed, shooting in all directions and damaging all those caught in the area.
Tactics
All of your fights with Reaper should be fought in close proximity. His incredibly powerful shotguns can easily overpower most foes at close range. He also doesn't necessarily need to stay by his teammates, as each character he eliminates drops a health orb that only he can pick up. It's a passive ability that allows for you to continually push forward and stay alive between health pack pick-ups. It's best to keep your Wraith Form at the ready before any major fights as well, just in case you need to make a quick getaway. As for using Death Blossom, save it for one of two instances; either when encountering multiple enemies at an objective point, or in tandem with an escort mission using the moving objective as both cover, and a way to keep your enemies in close proximity.
Pro-Tip
Pair your shadow step with your ultimate to always have the maximum health at the onset of you Death Blossom. This will help ensure you eliminate enemies to the maximum of your potential.
Strong Against
Bastion: Reaper can phase into his Wraith Form and close in on Bastion, flanking him and easily destroying him at close range.
Widowmaker: Reaper can easily close in on Widowmaker with either the Shadow Step or Wraith Form ability. Widowmaker is much less effective at close range, which Reaper can easily take advantage of.
Weak Against
Pharah: With her jetpack, Pharah can easily out maneuver Reaper and can eliminate him with her powerful ranged rockets.
Lucio: Lucio’s sound barrier can protect his team from Reaper’s Death Blossom, and can use Soundwave to knock Reapers back out of range.

Story
Some speak of a black-robed terrorist known only as the Reaper. His identity and motives are a mystery. What is known is that where he appears, death follows.
The Reaper is an extremely volatile mercenary, a ruthless and remorseless killer responsible for terrorist attacks across the world. He has fought in many armed conflicts in the last decades, showing no loyalty to any cause or organization.
Survivors have described a black shadow ghosting unscathed through the most hellish battlefields. The few bodies recovered of those he kills are pale, empty husks drained of life, their cells showing signs of intense degradation. It is possible that he is a byproduct of failed genetic alteration which forces his cells to simultaneously decay and regenerate at a hyper-accelerated rate.
Those attempting to track his movements have begun to see a pattern in his appearances. They believe that Reaper is hunting former Overwatch agents and systematically eliminating them.
