RE-45 AUTOPISTOL
Weapon Advice:
* Close to close mid range weapon
* Can cause significant damage to the enemy with accurate shots
* Swapping to your pistol to finish an enemy is faster than reloading
* Suprisingly damaging for a sidearm but still less effective than a primary weapon
Overall: A decent weapon to start with, helps newcomers learn the gunplay mechanics and provides decent close range coverage. Against distant targets however you will have limited options. It is still more effective at range than the other sidearms however.
HAMMOND P2011
Weapon Advice:
* Close range weapon
* Can cause significant damage to the enemy with accurate shots
* Swapping to your pistol to finish an enemy is faster than reloading
* Suprisingly damaging for a sidearm but still less effective than a primary weapon
Overall: Almost identical to the autopistol except for decreased range and the inclusion of a match trigger, this means it will fire as fast as you can. For experienced players this makes it a great tool to use until you unlock the B3 wingman.
B3 WINGMAN (unlocks at level 27)
Weapon Advice:
* Close range weapon
* Provides large damage per shot (it is a revolver after all)
* Swapping to your pistol to finish an enemy is faster than reloading
* Accurate shooting can bring down a pilot in one or two shots (a headshot is an instant kill)
Overall: The best sidearm overall and extremely dangerous in the right hands. Players who use the smart gun should swap to this when engaging enemy pilots due to it's damage far outstipping the smart pistol. Find the pilot with the smart pistol, swap to this and start firing to kill them. Works very well as a strategy.
